Bosch is currently the global leader in e-bikes. On the software side, its offering centers on a mobile app provided to manufacturers as a white-label solution, designed primarily with the end customer’s experience in mind (individual tracking, settings).

For a professional fleet manager, this is one piece of the puzzle, but not a complete solution. Currently, there is no Bosch platform dedicated to fleet management per se. As a result, fleet managers using Bosch technology often find themselves juggling multiple software programs, two logins, and a view of their fleet that is never truly unified.

What sets this integration apart: The Connect Module is a Bosch-certified tracker, designed to be factory-installed on the bike—just like the Trackap IoT modules that come standard on bikes from our partner manufacturers.

In practical terms, for a brand or an operator:

• Factory installation: The Connect Module is integrated into the industrial assembly process, complete with Bosch's warranty and certification.
• Flexibility in hardware ordering: Orders can be placed directly through Trackap or through the brand that assembles the module, whichever simplifies logistics for our customers.
• The software and billing remain with Trackap: a single SaaS invoice, a single interface, and a single point of contact for the entire management layer.

That's exactly the model we apply to our own integrations: certified, guaranteed hardware that's ready for mass production, with a software layer that integrates seamlessly at the end of the process.

Bosch integration isn't just for fleet managers. Many e-bike manufacturers offer multiple product lines depending on the market and model: Shimano on one line, Bosch on another, and sometimes Bafang or Ananda on others. As a result, bikes with Bosch motors are equipped with the Bosch tracker, while the other product lines use our Peppino module.

Until now, this meant forcing the end user to have two different experiences depending on their bike’s motor. With the Bosch integration, we can now offer these brands much more than just our Insight platform for OEMs: we can support multiple types of trackers—including Bosch—within a single white-label mobile app. In practice, the end user always opens the same app—branded with your logo—regardless of the motor and tracker installed on their bike.
